Excellent place for breakfast. They have excellent seasoning, and the servers are friendly and helpful. Their prices are affordable, and when you ask for the bill, they don't include the 10% or 15% tip that other places offer. I think if you received good service and your palate was satisfied with the dishes you ordered, you should tip at least 10% of your bill out of gratitude. I highly recommend them.

Today, January 3, 2025, we stopped by for lunch. We were looking for typical Cuenca food, and boy did we find it. The service is good, and eating by the river adds a special touch, especially when the locals show off their talents as they sing their famous decimas. For those visiting Tlacotalpan during the Candelaria festival, stopping by Los Jarochos is an excellent choice.
